Chenot Palace Weggis · for travel agents in India
One hotel, one method, and every guest follows it. Your clients come for the seven-night Chenot detox: doctors’ consultations and diagnostics, treatments every day, and the 850-calorie Chenot Diet®. Those who want answers before a reset can choose the five-night screening stay instead.

The Chenot Method®
Chenot describes its method as a practical framework for resetting and promoting health, centred on detoxification. Every seven-night programme stands on the same four foundations. What changes from one to the next is how much diagnostics and technology sits on top. That keeps the conversation with your client simple: agree the goal, and the programme follows.
The week begins with listening. A doctor reviews the guest’s health history and goals, and a dietician assesses nutritional status. Every detox programme then measures four Chenot Lifestyle Biomarkers®: vascular age, minerals and heavy metals, AGEs and skin collagen thickness, alongside a body composition analysis.
Each treatment day follows a ritual of water, clay and cold. Chenot’s hydrotherapy sequence is the heart of every detox programme: six hydro-aromatherapy baths with essential oils, six phyto-mud wraps of white and green clay, and six cooling hydro-jet treatments.
Hands first, then technology. Every detox programme includes six energetic massages with cupping, rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, plus a bio-energetic check-up and treatment. The more advanced programmes add cryotherapy at minus 110°C, photobiomodulation and an altitude room.
The Chenot Diet®: three plant-based meals a day, 850 calories in total, for seven days. Chenot describes it as a fasting-mimicking diet. The week does not simply stop: at the final nutrition consultation, guests learn how to return to normal eating at home, so the reset travels with them.
At Chenot, we do not treat disease. Instead, we address the root cause: ageing.Chenot's own description of its method. The programmes support health and prevention. They are not medical treatment for an illness.
Every guest’s week is personal. Chenot’s planning team sets the schedule once the stay is prepaid, so there is no hourly timetable to share. These are the fixed points your clients can plan around.
Which programme
Start with what your client tells you, in their own words. Each match draws only on what Chenot says the programme is designed for. The doctor confirms suitability at the first consultation, and this guide is not medical advice.
Watch Chenot
Let your clients see the week before they commit. These short films from Chenot play here, and you can share them before your clients book. Start with the four-minute film, which walks through a whole week at Chenot Palace Weggis. Films of individual treatments sit beside each treatment, under Special equipment and treatments.
Videos © Chenot, except the gym film © Technogym. Each video loads only when you press play. The two longer films have English subtitles. Some short clips have no sound, as marked.
Programmes
Rates shown are Chenot's published programme rates, per person for the whole programme. Open any card to see the full inclusions as Chenot lists them.
How to read the ratesEvery guest pays two things: the programme, per person, and the room, per night. Two guests sharing a room pay two programmes and one room. Rooms are charged separately, from CHF 410 per room per night.
The inclusions side by side, as Chenot lists them on each programme page. Numbers show sessions over the whole stay.
The Chenot Diet®
Have this conversation before you quote. A client who knows what is on the plate arrives ready for the week. Chenot is clear that every guest on a detox programme follows the diet, whichever room they book.
Three plant-based meals, each balancing good fats, low glycaemic index carbohydrates and a limited amount of plant protein, all served in the Dining Room.
All guests follow the Chenot Diet. Chenot states that no other diet can be followed during the stay, even for guests who are not looking to lose weight.
Caffeine is not served during the programme. Instead, guests enjoy barley and chicory coffee alternatives, and Chenot’s herbal teas in the Tea Lounge.
Chenot lists fatigue, headaches (often caffeine withdrawal), digestive changes, mood swings and mild flu-like symptoms as the body adjusts. The medical team helps guests through it with hydration, salt and prescribed electrolytes.
Chenot advises cutting back on portions, protein and coffee for a couple of days before arrival. It is a recommendation, not a requirement.
Chenot says the focus is detoxification, not weight loss, and that weight lost during the week is mostly fluid and likely to return.

Body Insights & Optimisation is the exception: it follows a vegetarian, anti-inflammatory Functional Diet rather than the 850-calorie detox diet.
Detox programmes are not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding guests because of the low-calorie diet.
Treatments, technology and facilities
Every programme draws on these departments and this equipment. Anything not included in your client's programme can be added after the first medical consultation, at extra charge. Descriptions follow Chenot's own department pages.
The technology that sets Chenot apart: a minus 110°C cryotherapy chamber, an altitude room, Neurac slings, an anti-gravity treadmill and more. Tap any item to see what it is, which programmes include it and its rate when booked on its own. Descriptions follow Chenot's treatment pages and treatment menu. À la carte rates are per session, as listed in Chenot's menu dated February 2026.

Under medical supervision, the whole body is progressively exposed to minus 110°C in the cold chamber, for a maximum of three minutes. Chenot lists recovery, performance, sleep and pain relief among its uses.
0:30The altitude roomTraining in thin air on the treadmill and the bike
The altitude chamber reduces the oxygen available to simulate up to 3,000 metres above sea level. Chenot uses it to train aerobic metabolism, so the body uses oxygen more efficiently for energy.
1:16Hypoxy-hyperoxyExplained by Chenot's Dr Antonio di Mauro
Short intervals of breathing air with reduced oxygen through a mask alternate with breathing ambient air. Chenot uses it to support metabolism and antioxidant defences.
0:25Red light therapyThe whole-body light bed
Chenot uses red and near-infrared light to relax muscles and joints, increase blood circulation and support energy production in the mitochondria. It also features in Chenot's sleep and mood work.
1:08Neurac treatmentDr George Gaitanos on exercise in suspension slings
Functional exercises in a suspension sling, which Chenot uses for musculoskeletal pain and to correct weaknesses and imbalances between muscles, so the guest moves more freely.
0:25The anti-gravity treadmillHow the unweighting works
The treadmill lifts part of the guest's body weight, so they can exercise with greater metabolic stimulation and a lower risk of injury. Chenot uses it for strength and fitness conditioning, and for rehabilitation after an injury or surgery.
0:22SensoProCoordination training on the rope trainer
A patented Swiss system that combines strength and flexibility work in short, intense sessions. It trains balance, coordination and mobility, which Chenot links to preventing falls and injuries.
Training on a treadmill inside a vacuum unit, which Chenot uses for fat-burning programmes that target fat reduction and cellulite.
0:20Intermittent vacuum therapyAlternating vacuum and pressure on the legs
The legs rest inside a unit that alternates negative pressure (vacuum) with positive pressure. Chenot says the rhythmic widening and compression of the vessels improves blood circulation and lymphatic flow.
Sleeves with overlapping air chambers give a gentle pressure massage, designed to encourage the natural flow of lymph, reduce swelling and improve the look of cellulite.

A patented neuroscience technology that combines neurochemistry with auditory signals, designed to move the nervous system out of fight or flight and into deep relaxation.
Building on the guest's stress test (heart rate variability), daily biofeedback training is designed to improve breathing patterns and strengthen the parasympathetic nervous system, the body's calming system.
0:21Bio-energetic treatmentThe treatment after the check-up
Resonance Analysis Technology gives information on the energetic state of the organs and body functions. The bio-energetic doctor then gives a personalised treatment, which Chenot describes as acupuncture through laser conductivity points.
0:54The daily sequenceExplained by Chenot's Dr Adriana
Three steps: a hydro-aromatherapy bath with Chenot essential oils, a white and green clay phyto-mud wrap with minerals and microalgae, then a high-pressure cooling hydro-jet.
0:55A guest's favouriteA guest on the energetic massage
Based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, the massage works along the meridians with cupping, designed to clear energy flow and improve blood and lymphatic circulation.
These can be added after a consultation with the doctor, at extra charge.
Your clients leave with numbers, not impressions. Every test is run on site by the Medical and Human Performance departments.

A breath-by-breath exercise test of how the heart, arteries and lungs deliver oxygen to the muscles. The results shape a personal training plan.

Measures bone-mineral density, lean and fat tissue mass and body fluids, giving a baseline to set and track health, weight and fitness goals.

A close look at how the body really moves: the curves of the spine, joint mobility and the weak links in the muscle chains.

Blood, urine and saliva tests covering inflammatory markers, food intolerances, hormones, vitamins, minerals and heavy metals, with every result reviewed by a doctor.
The pool and the gym come with the programme. Beyond them lie the lake and the hills.

For lengths at the guest’s own pace, and for aqua therapy: Chenot’s water-based rehabilitation exercise and therapeutic swimming.

Guests have their own private beach on Lake Lucerne. In summer, it is the place for an early swim. In winter, the icy lake becomes a natural cold plunge: nature’s own take on the cryotherapy offered in the medical spa.

Guided walking and hiking tours in the hills around the lake, plus jogging, mountain biking and tennis.

The hotel sits on Lake Lucerne at the foot of Mount Rigi. The cable car from Weggis takes guests up the mountain for walks and views across the lake to Pilatus.
Rooms and rates
Your clients choose between the turn-of-the-century Palace and a contemporary building, across 95 rooms and suites. The three entry categories are designed for one guest only, so couples start at the Classic Room.
How to read the ratesRoom rates are per room per night and cover the room. The programme is charged on top, per person. Two guests sharing a room pay one room rate and two programmes.
Published room rate, per room per night, as listed by Chenot on 28 October 2026. Programmes are charged separately, per person. All rooms have an en-suite marble bathroom. Rooms differ in size and layout because of the historical building.
Stay builder
Every guest staying at the hotel follows a programme, so two guests are shown with two programme rates. Transfers, extra treatments and any local taxes are confirmed with the quote.
Current offers

The setting
The hotel stands right on the lakeshore in the village of Weggis. Lucerne is a boat ride across the water, which makes the week easy to pair with a wider Switzerland itinerary. It opened in summer 2020.

Plan a stay
Chenot Palace Weggis accepts only guests on a programme. Most of your clients' questions will come down to three things: the length of stay, the diet and who can come along.
