Schengen visaSwitzerland is in the Schengen area. EU guidance is to apply at least 15 days before the journey and no earlier than six months before. Normal processing takes 15 days and can be extended to 45, so build that into the timeline for a group.
Where to applyAt the consulate of the country the group will visit, or, for several Schengen countries, the one where it spends longest. For a Switzerland-only programme, that is Switzerland.
Two seasons, with gapsWinter is for snow, and summer for golf (May to October) and hiking. Mountain venues follow the lifts: Gütsch by Markus Neff, for example, closed on 18 October in 2026 and opened on 13 December for winter 2025 to 2026. We check every venue for your dates.
The Chedi closes every springThe Chedi closes each year after the winter season for about six weeks of refurbishment, with no stays or events in that window. In 2026 it closed from 6 April to 22 May. For April and May dates, we confirm the window with the hotel before we quote.
Group rates are quoted per eventNo property publishes meeting or group rates. Rooms, meeting space, food, AV and activities are priced together in one quote.
Dietary needsTell us the group's needs in the brief. We ask each kitchen what it can do before we quote, and assume nothing.
Capacities are maximumsStages, screens and AV reduce them, so we confirm the final layout with the hotel.
